IRP Account Registration

The International Registration Plan (IRP) is required for all carriers operating Interstate with vehicles at or above 26,001lbs GVWR. Some carriers may be required to obtain an IRP registration or equivalent permits in some U.S. states, even if they are under 26,001lbs GVWR. The main purpose of the International Registration Plan is to promote interstate commerce. It encourages the fullest possible use of the highway system. It allows registered motor carriers to travel through all IRP member jurisdictions.

Our legal department will complete your IRP account registration with your base state. You will be sent an email requesting the information necessary to complete the filing. Please remember, we cannot complete your IRP account registration without the necessary information. The sooner you can provide the required information, the sooner we can complete your registration.

NOTICE: The initial account registration only includes 1 vehicle. If you are requesting more than 1 vehicle to be added to your account, please select the “additional vehicles” option from the dropdown and change the quantity to reflect the number of additional vehicles you would like to add.
