The UCR is required under 49 U.S. Code § 14504a. It must be filed for any USDOT number that has marked “Interstate” as its operation type.
The Unified Carrier Registration is an annual road tax where the price is determined based on the number of vehicles crossing state lines. This cannot be prorated, and will be due by the beginning of each calendar year.
We will register your UCR for the appropriate year and send an email confirmation once the filing is complete.
