Supervisor Training Course

The supervisor training course is required under 49 CFR 382.603. Any company with hired drivers who are required to be enrolled into a random testing consortium must assign a supervisor who must complete the supervisor training course to receive certification. 

The training course is roughly 2 hours in length - 1 hour in drug abuse, 1 hour in alcohol abuse - and teaches the supervisor to recognize patterns or symptoms of drug/alcohol abuse in drivers performing safety-sensitive functions. 

Once enrolled, the supervisor will be sent instructions to complete the course online, and it can be completed on mobile or desktop devices. Upon completion, they will receive a confirmation and certificate reflecting their completion of the program. The certificate will need to be provided to your safety officer at the time of your New Entrant Safety Audit.
